DreamHack Winter 2009: Team LZ Out of CS1.6 Tournament

Team LZ at DreamHack Winter 2009.

As one of the most well known event in the world, the DreamHack Winter 2009 Counter-Strike 1.6 Tournament has attracted throngs of well known team from all over the globe including one of own homeboys, Team LZ whom qualified to the event through DreamHack CS1.6 Malaysia Qualifier during the recently concluded Indie Youth Fest 2009.

The team’s DH Winter campaign started earlier today and went on very well at first, by beating Sweden’s own 0bites with an impressive 16 - 11 score. However, they didn’t get to maintain their initial momentum as they were out muscled by more experienced teams in their group - Evil Geniuses of USA and Finland’s wooSai - with 16 - 3 and 16 - 5 scores respectively.

Being the last major tournament for Team LZ before calling it quits, we wished that things would went better for them at DreamHack. But then…well, good game LZ, good game.
