WCG Opens Grand Finals Trackmania Spot Through Online Qualifier

It was a sad occasion for many local racing gamers out there when the organizer of WCG Malaysia decided not to include the Free-Of-Charge racing game, Trackmania Nations into the 2009 list. However, earlier today, WCG Inc. gave us a surprise, out of nowhere - a second chance for a spot to compete at WCG Grand Finals.

The organization today announced that they are going to have an open online qualifier through WCGZone.com Trackmania tournament site. Open to all country that organizes WCG (which mean ours, if it’s not clear enough), two fastest racers throughout the two weeks qualifying period will win themselves an all-paid trip to WCG 2009 Grand Finals in Chengdu, China. Over there, they will meet other players that qualified through their national qualifier to compete for the World Champion title.

However, it is not going to be an easy ride since you not only have to race against your fellow countryman but also, against thousands of others all over the globe. Still,we hope to see at least one of you guys made it to Chengdu.
