WCG Malaysia’09 Unveils Prizes, Added DoTA and Super Dancer Online

Looks like things has been spicing up for the better, even if it looks like a last minute inclusions. Two more official game has been added to WCG Malaysia 2009 roster - DoTA and Super Dancer Online Extreme (SDO-X). These two are not new WCG titles though as they have been included last year (SDO) and also, back in 2005 (DoTA).

Since both DoTA and SDO-X are not the official WCG Grand Finals titles, the champions will not be following Team Malaysia to Chengdu, China for the WCG 2009 World Finals. Speaking of prizes, the organizers has also revealed the complete prizes list for the event:

FIFA’09, Starcraft and Warcraft 3
Champion: RM 1000 cash + Fully sponsored air ticket & accommodation to WCG 2009 World Finals + Gold Medal
1st Runner Up: RM 800 cash + Silver Medal
2nd Runner Up: RM 600 cash + Bronze Medal

DoTA
Champion: RM1500 + Gold medal + sponsored prizes
1st runner Up: RM1000 + Silver Medal + sponsored prizes
2nd runner Up: RM500 + Bronze Medal + sponsored prizes

SDO-X Summer Passion
Champion: 420,000 MCash + Dancing Pack + In-game items
1st Runner Up: 280,000 MCash + Dancing Pack + In-game items
2nd Runner Up: 140,000 MCash + Dancing Pack + In-game items

If you haven’t got the notice, the WCG Malaysia 2009 will take place this weekend at Cybertime outlet in Mega Mendung, Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur. Online registration has been opened at WCG Malaysia’s website since few days ago, so check it out if you are interested to be part of the event. :)
