You thought Modern Warfare 2 grand package will only stop at their Prestige Edition? No no no…this is Activision we talking about. They will not pass any opportunity to milk out a series. But of course, this time around they didn’t do it directly. They groped some help from industry friends, namely Microsoft and Mad Catz.
Unveiled just hours ago at a MW2 press event in Los Angeles, Microsoft is going to release a special MW2 Xbox 360 bundle. The package features a standard edition of the game, two controllers, a huge 250GB hard disk drives and a custom MW2-themed console. Priced at around RM 1400 (USD 399.99), we would say that it is not a bad offer at all. Expected to be available worldwide soon, hopefully they would not short-changed us once again as per what they did with Resident Evil 5 bundle. *hint hint*
As for Mad Catz, they already jumped at the opportunity earlier than the Redmond software giant. On the same time as the MW2 release this coming November, the peripherals company will also release their MW2-themed equipments ranging from specially-made controllers to console skins. PC users were not forgotten too by MadCatz; MW2 keyboards and mouse will be made available as well. No, MadCatz MW2 controller is not included in the Xbox 360 bundle. They should though.
In terms of prices, the boys at Joystiq list them up all nicely here. Some of them are kinda expensive while some are quite affordable. We not sure whether these controllers will be able to help you in fragging people inside MW2 later on, but hell, you at least can roll out in style.

Nice pricetag. Though I wonder how much it would be and when it will arrive in Malaysia…
