ESPGL To Held CoD4 Promod Introductory Event

ESPGL Promod Tour

We don’t expect ESPGL to organize another event so soon after last month’s Revival, but here they are, surprising us once again. This time around, it is only open to non-clan players in a serious fun competition setup that they called the Promod Tour.

Taking place at Blitzone Damansara Jaya (KDU area), the event is held with the objective of introducing Promod Live 2.04EU - the current competitive mod used by local community - to the masses. Each night at 8 to 10pm from 18th to 20th September 2009, a number of 6vs6 Search and Destroy matches will be setup throughout the night which top three scorers of each night will be rewarded with fine gaming equipment by one of ESPGL sponsor, Razer.

On the list, we are looking at Razer Deathadder and Salmosa Gaming Mouse and also, Razer Sphex Gaming Mat will be given away each night as prizes. Not only that, each participants will recieve a Razer lanyards too. Registration is free but do note that, players have to pay for their own cyber cafe usage time which expected to be RM 7.50 maximum.

Our only gripe with this event is that the competition dates are so close to Hari Raya Aidilfitri. In fact, the final day of the event is on the first day of Hari Raya itself. Nevertheless, since the competition is held at night, players could stop by at the venue after visiting their relatives during daytime.
