Heroes of Newerth Out of NDA, Retail Price Announced
September 10, 2009 by Chapree

Want to spread your loves of Heroes of Newerth (HoN) to the masses but stuck with the NDA? Fret no more, the game’s developer - S2 Games, has lifted their secret cover over the game and are now ready to announce it to the world.
Since we also got stuck with the NDA, we might have not introduce the game properly before this. Basically, HoN is a 5v5 Action-RPG online game which played similarly to the Warcraft 3 mod that inspired it - DoTA. That being said, HoN contained features that are not seen on the aging mod such as better graphics, leaver protections, built-in Voice-Over-IP and much-much more which are described in full details at the game’s newly opened official website.
Since the response from our HoN closed beta codes are quite overwhelming, we don’t really need to tell you how popular this game is. But just to describe how big is the overall number of HoN players across the globe, the game has saw around 1.3 million games and counting played by its 350,000 beta members in just three months after the game starts its closed beta.
For those who currently are in love with HoN’s closed beta bash, they can expect more players to join them once the open beta session opens soon. S2 Games has also put a price tag of RM 105 (USD 30) for the retail version, expected to be out sometime in Q4 2009 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
For the meantime, we still got couple of beta keys left but we doubt it’s going to last long. Request them now!
