Grand Theft Auto Coming To iPhone

The Grand Theft Auto series has (almost) completed its presence on hand-held platform, with GTA:Chinatown Wars for Apple iPhone/iPod Touch. In an announcement at Rockstar Games official website, the game which used to be an exclusive title for Nintendo DS, will be released in Fall 2009.

“Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch. We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms,” - Rockstar president Sam Houser.

Before the iPhone release announcement was made, Rockstar first announced that the game is also coming to Sony PSP on 20th October 2009. With almost all hand-held gaming platforms have been covered by Rockstar, we guess that left only Nokia N-Gage without a GTA title…
