During last weekend, one of the country’s top FIFA players - [T2.W|nDs]Vin, was in action at Busan, Korea for the Hyundai Motor Cup Asian Championship. Vin qualified to the regional tournament through the national qualifier held earlier this week by the local FIFA Online 2 operator, MyCNX.

Over there, Vin was joined by seven other competitors which also went through national selection at their respective countries: China, Japan, South Korea (two players), Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. For the first match, Vin was drew to meet his counterpart from China. He won the first match without much problem and went on to the semi-finals where he was up against one of the home player - UNLMTD-SUNGJAE.

SUNGJAE proved to be too strong for Vin and went on to beat him for a place in the Grand Final. SUNGJAE proved his supriority once again when he beat another finalist, TitaNs|Xtr3me3 of Singapore to become the champion. As for the third place, we are not sure whether a match actually took place as we can’t find a report of it, but it suffice to say that another home player - UNLMTD-GUANHYEUNG, received the 3rd place honor.

Although the tournament have a very little participants and looked more like an exhibition tournmanet but the sheer prestige of having matches to be broadcast live on TV showed how much Korea loves the game. As for Vin himself, although he didn’t win anything over there, he learned a lot of thing from his counterparts from other countries and looking forward to strut it off at future FO2 tourneys.
