Street Fighter IV To Invade Sri Kembangan and Penang

Forgive us, this is rather a late notice. The folks at Sony decided to throw a series Street Fighter IV Challenge at two Sony Centres located in Sri Kembangan and Penang this weekend.

The competition series will kick off at The Mines Shopping Center branch tomorrow, July 25th. Starting from 12pm onwards, the registration will start at 11am. Up for grabs will be a Sony PSP for the champ while the runner-ups will be rewarded with Sony Digital Photo Frame, DVD Player or Walkman MP3 players.

Do note that for this venue, you are only allowed to use the supplied controller. Sorry arcade stick owners, you can rest your Horis for the weekend.

As for the Penang competition, it will be held on the following day which is Sunday, 26th July at the branch in AEON Shopping Centre in Seberang Prai City, Bukit Mertajam. You can register yourselves there or at another branch in Megamall Pinang, Seberang Prai Tengah.

The actual prizes are unknown but it is stated on their official Facebook page that there will be around RM 2000 worth of prizes up for grabs. It is also unknown whether the arcade stick restrictions will be also in place at Penang.

Looks like the folks at Sony Malaysia really loved the game, judging from the number of competitions - big and small they had so far. It’s all good.
