MSC Malaysia IPCC Finalists Announced

Earlier this month, the submission for The 2009 MSC Malaysia Intellectual Property Creators Challenge (IPCC) has reached its deadline. The organization received around 100 entries across four different category whereby two of them are specific for gaming - Mobile Games and Casual Games.

After going through a detailed filtering process, the list of the finalist were revealed last Friday at MSC Malaysia Animation and Creative Content Center (MAC3) Facebook page. As for the game category, here are them:

Mobile Games

All of the strong 22 gaming finalist will have to present or as the industry called it, “pitch” their ideas in just 10 minute, in front of the judging committee for a chance to receive a grant worth RM 50,000 to complete their project according to IPCC specification. The grant will be given to only 5 winners from each category, so the stakes are pretty high here - a total of half a million ringgit!
