N-Gage Update Available For N97 But Not In Malaysia Yet

Early last month, Nokia latest N-series device, the N97 was released into the market. Nokia’s gaming platform, the N-Gage was said to be supported on this new device but early N97 adopters was soon disappointed to find that the gaming app will only be available much later on through a software update.

The wait ended last Friday as Nokia started to roll out the latest update for the device through their software update service, which is said to include the N-Gage software. Unfortunately, according to many local N97 owners including the well known Symbian enthusiast - Jason “Smashpop” Goh has mentioned that the N-Gage update is still not available on Malaysia’s software update service.

On the other hand, if you are desprate enough to try the new update, Smashpop did posted a N97 compatible N-Gage update on his Twitter earlier today. Hmm…
