Guitar Hero: Metallica Guitar Bundle Incoming?

Guitar Hero: Metallica stand alone game has been around the market for quite some time. For a game with such a huge name behind it, we kinda wondered if Activision just missed an money making opportunity by not having any peripherals associated with the game. Turn out, no, they didn’t. They just took longer time to come out with one for the metal band.

We recently stumbled upon listing at New Era’s (Activision’s distributor in our country, in case you didn’t know) website about GH: Metallica guitar bundle. From the image, the bundled guitar is basically a GH: World Tour guitar with a different faceplate spotting Metallica’s Sad But True skulls design.

Upon checking Red Octane official store and a number of State-bound online retailers, there are no mention of such bundles or faceplate with such design. However, fellow forumer Kyoyagami pointed out that EB Games Australia actually offered such bundle for the game’s upcoming Aussie release on 27th May.

Looks like with this two strong sign, fans can look forward to own this plastic guitar bundle featuring Metallica around this month, if not slightly later than Australian release. \m/
