Go International To Host eSports Tourney, Regardless Of ESWC Status
May 5, 2009 by Chapree

While Games Services recent demise has indeed put ESWC Malaysia banner in jeopardy, fret not - the show will still go on! Just yesterday, the local ESWC license holder - Go International posted a rather positive update on its ESWC blog:
Despite the changes announced by Games Services, Go International Group is still keen to support the electronic sports fraternity by organising an e-sport tournament at its annual INDEPENDENT YOUTH FESTIVAL at 1 Utama from 29 July - 2 August, 2009. Be there to witness KL folks in a DIGITAL DELIRIUM!!!
Whether the upcoming tourney will still spot the ESWC banner or not, it doesn’t matter right now. As long as there is still a tourney, it’s a win situation.
[Thanks for the tips, TPK!]

Hey guys! thanks chap for the post. Curious now… here’s a question from an Organiser to Gamers. What DO YOU GUYS WANT? Do gamers play for reputation, money, prizes or a trip overseas to meet with other gamers? What sorts of prizes rock you? Tell us tell us! Good bad or ugly. We want to hear your feedback.
