Gaming Galore At ACGC 2009 This Weekend UPDATED

The Animation, Comic, Game Convention (ACGC) is back for the year 2009. Announced in a ceremony almost a month ago which our Shrine guys attended, the first edition of ACGC’09 will take place at the spanking new Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya from Saturday, 21st March till Sunday, 22nd March.

As the event name suggest, ACGC’09 is one of the well known all-in-one event combining anime, manga/comic, cosplay and of course, video games - across all platforms: consoles, online games, mobile games and also PC. As far as the gaming section concerns, ACGC’09 offered five main activities:

• Console Game Showcase
• FIFA Online 2 Pre National Championship Kick-Off:
• Left 4 Dead Time Trial Tournament:
• Top Speed Tournament Meetoto Singing Competition
• PC Games Game Awards

UPDATE (18th March): We found out that the Top Speed Tournament and PC Games Game Awards has been removed from the announcement in our forums. It has been replaced with Meetoto Singing Competition.
