Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard Coming To The Country In March

Good news to the guys in our forums that has been asking about the new Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard which was announced way back in : it is almost here! To those who never heard of it, the G13 is an upcoming programmable gameboard - think of it as gaming-specific mini keyboard, which was announced by the Swiss’ hardware giant back in December 2008.

According to Logitech, the new G13 Advanced Gameboard offered these features:

Contoured design for increased comfort
Programmable keys, all 25 of them together with an analog stick, which allowed up to 87 different macros.
On-the-fly macro recording capability, without the need to pause the game.
On-board memory to hold five custom game profiles.
LCD panel (the same one on G15 gaming keyboard previously) to show live game & system stats and also communication from fellow players.
Customizable multicolor backlit keys for gaming in the dark.

Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech’s director of product marketing for gaming is feeling very confident with their new G13:

Unlike other gameboards that focus only on programmability, the G13 advanced gameboard incorporates the principles of our award-winning Comfort Wave design. So whether you’re getting into World of Warcraft or walking into your next LAN party, the G13 gameboard gives you a powerful advantage over those forced to work with less.
