No Plans Yet For Xbox 360 In Malaysia, Says Microsoft
February 27, 2009 by Chapree
Will we ever get to see this console available officially here? Maybe not just yet.
“When will Xbox 360 to be available officially in Malaysia?” is one of the most popular question among journalist at any given Microsoft event in this country. Microsoft themselves actually aware of the question’s popularity till the extent that, when they unveiled Microsoft Sidewinder X8 recently to Malaysian journalist, Ian Tan, the Marketing Communications and Partnership Manager of Microsoft South East Asia’s Entertainment & Devices Division actually answered it first, before even any journalist ever got to it.
Unfortunately, the answer still pretty much like “We still have no dates for you guys,“. The official answer goes like this:
We are always exploring opportunities for Xbox 360 in other countries but there are no plans to launch Xbox 360 in Malaysia at this point of time.
So, that’s it, folks. I guess we need updates from time to time about Xbox 360 official availability in our country
