Some of you might recall that back in September 2008, we posted a piece of news about the return of ESWC Grand Finals back to its origin country, France for 2009 season. Together with the post, we also revealed that ESWC Malaysia is confirmed to make a return this year.

Well, as the new year unfolds itself, both the big kahuna at France - Game Services and also, Malaysia’s ESWC Master Licensee, Go International Group have further confirmed ESWC Malaysia 2009. Nothing new about the 2009 official games list though except Go International has listed 3 official games and 2 unofficial games for the event:

ESWC Malaysia 2009 Official Games

  • Counter-Strike 1.6
  • Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne
  • Trackmania Nations Forever

ESWC Malaysia 2009 Unofficial Games

  • Defense of The Ancients
  • FIFA’09 / Pro Evolution Soccer

In the announcement at ESWC Malaysia’s blog, Go International further added that more details will be made known in March 2009. We shall wait then…it’s only a month away. ;)
