Final Fantasy XIII New Trailer Released, Features Real-Time Gameplay

After a countdown appeared in all three Final Fantasy XIII official websites last week, many wondered what Square Enix going to unleash this time around. Well, it’s TEH Final Fantasy after all, of course it gets everybody pumped up.

The countdown finally ended yesterday and there it is, a spanking new trailer for the game. The trailer basically revealed a little bit more story in pre-rendered CG and for the first time, some real-time gameplay taken directly from the game. Apparently, we are going to see more of this “countdown” revelation soon as hinted by the company’s blog.

Final Fantasy XIII will first hit the Japanese market on PlayStation 3 this year and will only then be ported into other market (means: translated into Engrish) for both PS3 and Xbox 360 which expected to be available in 2010.
