Shaiya Online

Shaiya Online, a multi-million MMORPG from South Korea has recently launched its open beta period in Malaysia and Singapore. The game is distributed in both country by Run Up Game, who also operated several other well-known MMO including Mo Siang and Kick Online.

Known for its beautiful graphics, Shaiya took around 3 years to develop by Sonov, using Unreal Engine 3 as the game’s core. The game’s graphic showcase was further enhanced sonically by George Oldziey, who has composing music for a number of legendary games such as Ultima IX - Ascension, Wing Commander III and IV. He also composed for Hollywood movies such as Sin City, Kill Bill Vol.2 and numerous other movies.

In the game, players are able to choose their adventure’s difficulty level through a system called Multiple Upbringing Options. The higher the level, the tougher the game gets such as higher EXP requirements or even permanent character deletion in Ultimate mode but it reward players with more stat points too. Another unique experience in the game will be the insanely huge and no holds barred 1500 vs 1500 players battlefield, which located at the border of the game’s two realm area.

Shaiya Online open beta period already commenced since 12th December 2008. To download the client and to know more information about the game, jump over to their official website.
