Winning Eleven 2009 For PS3 Malaysian Launch

Last week, PLAY Interactive and Sony Malaysia held a pre-release launch event for the new Winning Eleven 2009 for PlayStation 3 at Sony Sytle in The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

The event marked another significant recognition to Malaysian market as local gamers had the privilege to obtain the game one day earlier than its’ worldwide launch. Gracing the pre-release launch event was Saifol Bahri Shamlan - Vice President for Industry Development Divison of Multimedia Development Corporation, together with Taku Taguchi of Sony Malaysia and Andrew Tan of PLAY Interactive.

I wonder if any bookie was around the venue that day.

Pre-order customers were treated with a discounted price for the game, Adidas jerseys, Sony PlayStation and Winning Eleven merchandises. As a bonus, more merchandises was also given away in a mini tournament that was opened up to all in attendance.

In conjunction with the event, the Malaysian Konami distributor also launched their new Premium PLAY Card Tournament Pass program, where holder will be able to enjoy discounts on Konami products and PLAY Interactive tournaments plus special invitations to their events. If you are existing PLAY Interactive customers (especially to those who bought Metal Gear Solid 4 last time), you can contact them to obtain the cards.
