Left 4 Dead PC Pre-Orders Begins This Week
October 28, 2008 by Chapree

Built on the Source engine, Valve’s upcoming Left 4 Dead are set on an world that is infected by zombies…ok, not actually zombie. Your enemies are actually humans that infected with a mysterious infection that rendered them pretty much zombiefied. The game emphasis on team cooperation and the player will be a part of 4 human which your teammates can be either an AI or other human - by multiplayer means.
Online e-club Malaysia, the local Valve’s distributor already set a pre-order program that will start this coming 31st October (it should be 2008, not 2009!
), according to advertisements in a number of magazines. But from my observation, online retailers such as The Software Boutique and PCGame.com.my already accepting pre-orders since a while ago.

These two mousepads comes with each pre-orders of the PC version.

We are not sure how many retailers are involved in this pre-order programs but chances are that almost all Online e-club Malaysia affiliate outlets should be involved. Left 4 Dead is expected to be available on 17th November and will be available for RM 138.00 per pop. Each pre-orders will receive two exclusive Left 4 Dead mousepads, while stocks last. Valve’s Steam itself are offering 10% discount off the normal RM 180 (USD 49.99) price for pre-orders but not that it matters economically anyway
.
Unfortunately for Xbox 360 fans, while the game will be out on the same as its PC sibling, there are no pre-orders programs spotted in the wild for our country. But at least, the 360 version is still cheaper (RM 149 according to TSB) than most of other parts in the world.
