X08 Singapore : The Return of X

The X08 Singapore is set to mark the return of Microsoft gaming event to the Lion city. If you never heard of it before, the Microsoft X event is basically an huge Xbox festival, held in several cities across the globe on yearly (or at least close to yearly) basis. This year’s event at Singapore will be held from 24th to 26th October 2008.

X06 Singapore was a huge flashy event which was held in a set of custom build domes somewhere downtown Singapore. The X08 in another hand will be less flashy in terms of venue - Marina Square Atrium. Nevertheless, you can bet your Microsoft Points cards that tons of upcoming games will be available for you to play.

Among games that will be showcased at the event :

• Gears of War 2
• Fable 2
• Fallout 3
• Guitar Hero World Tour
• Tomb Raider: Underworld
• Tom Clancy’s EndWar
• Need For Speed Undercover
• Midnight Club Los Angeles
• Saints Row 2
• Darksiders: Wrath Of War

These and more will be available on the show floor at X08 Singapore. Apart from the gaming showcase, among the other activities at X08 Singapore this coming October will be the appearances of Alison Carroll, the current face of Ms. Lara Croft of Tomb Raider.

Also, there will be Xbox LIVE Fan Nite on the first day of the event which is only open to existing users and active LIVE gamertags. Attendees will get to challenge local band, Electrico on Guitar Hero World Tour ; head to head.

Fun time ahead for Xbox 360 owners in Singapore indeed. But yeah, why not cross over the Causeway for the event if you got the time? Lara Croft in the flesh, man…
