ESWC World Finals Is Going Back To France

The Electronic Sports World Cup yesterday announced that the 2009 ESWC World Finals will be back to its hometown - France after having the 2008 edition at San Jose, USA last August. The event will be held in conjuction with the 4th Gaming Show of Paris at Bercy.

The only worrying thing about the return of ESWC World Finals to France are the dates of the event. 2008 World Finals was held at the end of August but the 2009 edition will be held from June 26th to 28th instead. This means you should expect that the ESWC Malaysia 2009 will be held earlier than this year’s edition.

Touching on Malaysian edition of ESWC 2009, Go International Group already begun working on it. This is confirmed by Jasmine Low, the Director of ESWC Malaysia in a phone conversation earlier today. No further information were available apart from the confirmation since ESWC Malaysia 2009 is still a work in progress.
