W|nDs Intercafe Amateur FIFA Challenge Offers Disneyland Trip To Winners

W|nDs Intercafe FIFA Challenge

One of the established FIFA clan in the country - W|nDs, recently announced that they are organizing a special FIFA tournament for amateurs players out there. By amateurs, they mean players that are not W|nDs, MyFES and Tornado members. The restrictions also covered Top 8 players in CELgames’08 and WCG Malaysia 2008.

W|nDs Intercafe FIFA Challenge is divided into weekly qualifiers held at a number of cybercafes (hence the Intercafe name). The winner of each week will received RM 100 plus sponsored goodies and also will be gathered together with other weekly winners to form a team of four players. These four players will represent the venue that they won to play against other cybercafe in Grand Finals.

At Grand Finals, each team will then compete for the Grand Prize of a fully paid 4 days and 3 night trip to Hong Kong Disneyland for the whole team members. The 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up teams will not go home empty handed as they also be rewarded with RM 1000 and RM 500 cash respectively together with a number of sponsored goodies.

Currently, these are the confirmed dates and qualifiers venue:

Autosurf Cheras: 13,20,27 and 28 of September 2008.
Autosurf Subang: 13,20,27 and 28 of September 2008.

The main man behind this project, [W|nDs]Si_Jali stated that this tournament will be held until the end of November where by more cybercafes will be included as qualifiers venue. Meanwhile, grab the early bird opportunity fast at this month’s qualifiers as there is a 16 players participation limit for each qualifiers!
