[060708]ESWC Malaysia Day 3 - 010
The winners of ESWC Malaysia 2008

The members of Team Malaysia to ESWC 2008 Grand Finals breath earlier this week as they managed to passed the last : obtaining USA’s visa. As you might recall, half of Team Malaysia’s WCG 2007 Grand Finals members was denied visa due to numerous reasons. Looks like US Embassy is being more generous this time around.

Speaking in a short phone conversation with Team Malaysia’s Trackmania Nations representative - Luige few days ago, only our Warcraft 3 rep - Paul Yan didn’t get the visa as he was absent at the scheduled interview in US Embassy due to sickness. ESWC Malaysia’s director, Jasmine Low further added that they tried to get M1-NoX, the Warcraft 3 1st Runner-Up winner on board as replacement for Paul but there was simply not enough time to obtain the visa which left only Kingsurf (DoTA) and Luige representing Malaysia to San Jose.

Team Malaysia members was also privileged to meet with our Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Badawi at Parliament few days ago. The big guy passed some motivational words to all of them and wished Team Malaysia all the best at the world’s event. I do hope there will be more such meeting in coming future *hint hint hint* ;) .

Alrighty then boys, make us proud at San Jose. Malaysia Boleh! :D

Do I smell a political gimmick?

It seems like everything he does this few days is questionable (take train la, petrol go down la).

I would love to meet the PM.
