CGS Pan-Asian 2008 Day 4 : KL Taufan Advanced To Semis

Day 4 saw the last match in CGS Pan-Asian 2008 round robin stage. 4 teams will proceed to the Semi-Finals with the winner of these Semi-Finals will receive the lucrative pro gaming contracts and also representing Region 5 at CGS World Finals later this year.

For Malaysian CGS franchise - KL Taufan, today is their do-or-die day. They need to win against Singapore Sword in order to qualify to Semi-Finals and that is what they did. Although Taufan’s CS Source and FM2 didn’t managed to out perform their Sword’s counterpart (11 - 7 and 4 - 3 respectively), but Taufan’s DoA4 and FIFA’08 players did well to mark up the points.

With Tetra missing in action, Sword’s GM, Phenic took over his place in DoA4 Male. Taufan’s INC with a comfortable win of 2 - 5. To add more salt to Sword’s wound, Taufan’s female DoA4 fighter, Be3 crushed down Sword’s Perpetial with 0 - 5 score. Last but not least, Si_Jali met fellow [W|nDs] clanmates - Xtreme in a match full of goals which ended on Jali’s side with the score, 5 - 6.

With that 22 - 26 victory, KL Taufan qualifies to the Semi-Finals and right now are competing against Sydney Underground for the final spot to CGS World Finals, happening later this year. You can follow the update live at CGS official website.
