CGS Pan-Asian 2008 Day 2 Recap

The second day of CGS Pan-Asian 2008 has comes to an end, with less than impressive results for KL Taufan and also some unexpected rumors.

KL Taufan today was scheduled to meet two teams for today: Sydney Underground and Seoul Jinhwa. Unfortunately, both of their opponent pretty much teared Taufan away in almost every games. Below are the full results for both matches.

Sydney Undeground vs KL Taufan

1. CS Source: 11 - 7
2. Forza Motorsport 2: 6 - 1

4. DoA4 Female: 5 - 2

Seoul Jinhwa vs KL Taufan

Final Score: 25 - 14

The 2nd day of CGS Pan-Asian 2008 also saw an unexpected incident that involved Singapore Sword’s Dead or Alive 4 star player, Tetra. The incident was first detected when Tetra’s name missing from the Sword vs Jinhwa score sheet as you can see below.

Soon after, I’ve scrambled around and managed to get an insider information that Tetra has left the tournament and was seen leaving the player’s hotel with his baggage. The player that fill in his spot for Sword’s match against Jinhwa was Sword’s own GM, Phenic.

As of why or how it happened, nobody seems to be able to give a concrete information. Then, came a shocking news that Tetra was fired by CGS. It is still an unconfirmed rumor and according to the source, there will be an official statement from CGS tomorrow. Expect some drama, people. Dum dum dum.
