Footie Weekend Is Coming!

Time to score some gooooooaaaalllsss!

If you love playing football game, this weekend is your type of weekend then. Two of the biggest football game in the world, EA Sports’ FIFA’08 and Konami’s Winning Eleven 2008 is going to have their own tournament this coming Saturday and Sunday. This is rather a short notice (my bad ) but hey, it’s better than nothing right?

Let’s start with FIFA’08. The folks at Cyberjaya Lake Gardens Community Club is having yet another PlayStation 3 FIFA’08 tournament. This time it was held in conjunction with Cyberjaya Futsal League 2008. Man, they are sure pretty active as not even two weeks ago, they just finished their NFS ProStreet competition.

This time around, the prize pool was increased to almost double the previous amount. They also extend the prize up until the 8th place and as usual, the registration is free. More reason to join eh?

Next, Winning Eleven 2008. Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam is going to see yet another WE2008 tournament this coming Sunday. Seems that people over there love this game so much.

Each participants are able to register maximum 2 participation slot with each slot will cost them RM 25. The platform of choice will be PlayStation 2. One Sony PlayStation Portable awaits the champion plus cash prizes and hampers for Top 4 winners.
