Sony Unveils its PSP Red.

Sony Malaysa has unveiled it limited edition deep red PSP slim in the recent Sony PSP Gameshow held at The Curve’s Piazza. The deep red Sony PSP slim is a limited edition PSP console for its avid gamers and is retailing at RM859. As for Sony’s PSP Gameshow, it was a two day even which also included a Cosplay Competition and a Gaming Competition.

The PSP Gameshow aims to drive home the message of buying original games software amongst the younger generation in the country. “The Malaysian game market has not grown as much compared to countries in the other parts of the world due to the wide spread of pirated gaming software locally,” said Taku Taguchi, GM of Product Marketing Division, Sony Malaysia.

He added that sony has taken a proactive move by promoting its anti-piracy campaign called “R U Original” in order to encourage consumers to purchase only original software from authorised dealers.
