WCG Announces 14 Official Games For 2008 Edition

Yesterday, World Cyber Games finally unveils the much anticipated official games list for 2008. Announced at their website, the list offers the largest number of titles ever in WCG history, boasting 14 titles on three platforms: PC, Xbox 360 and mobile phones. They are as below:
PC
- Counter-Strike 1.6
- Starcraft: Brood War
- WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne
- Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
- Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties
- FIFA Soccer 08
- Need For Speed ProStreet (US & Canada will use Xbox 360 version)
- Carom3D
- Red Stone (4 v. 4)
Xbox 360
- Halo 3 (4 vs 4)
- Project Gotham Racing 4
- Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
- Virtua Fighter 5
Mobile Game
- Asphalt 3: Street Rules
One can expect that around half of the game inside the list will not be played at Malaysian Championship later this year. For example, the 360 games…unless Microsoft Malaysia pull off an official launch out of nowhere which is pretty doubtful, if not straight impossible.
Anyway, it’s time to grab those keyboards, mices and gamepads. Start practicing now!

COUNTER STRIKE 1.6 FOREVER !!! PLS PLS PLS DO NOT ORGANISE THIS YEAR’S World Cyber Games IN MID VALLEY ANYMORE !!! FROM MY LAST YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MID VALLEY WAS NOTHING BUT HELL..NOT A GOOD PLACE TO PROMOTE ANYTHING LAR SERIOUSLY, HIDDEN IN THE HIGHEST FLOOR YET IN A ENCLOSE VALLEY, WHO WOULD KNOW MAN..SOMEMORE INSIDE THE VALLEY HOT LIKE STEAMBOAT ONLY, NOISY AT THE SAME TIME…WHILE PLAYING CS1.6 I COULD BARELY HEAR MYSELF SHOUTING :” BOMBSITE B BOMBSITE B”….AS FOR THE World GameMaster Tournament IN 1UTAMA WAS NOTHING BUT HEAVEN,ALTHOUGH THE LOCATION WASNT REALLY A GOOD ONE…SHOULD HAVE PLACED IT IN THE MAIN PART OF THE MALL WHICH IS SOME WHERE NEAR GIANT THERE…
