GACC2008 Starts This Weekend At MMU Melaka

GACC 2008

Organized by EMiNA Japanese Animation Club and Care Club of Multimedia University, Melaka the second edition of Games Anime Comic Circle (GACC) will be held this weekend, 1st and 2nd March at their Exam Hall.

Featuring tons of everything Japanese, the organizer goes to the extend of inviting Masakazu Morita, the voice-over artists (seiyuu in Japanese) behind Tidus of Final Fantasy X, FF X-2 and Kingdom Hearts. Tidus is only one of his impressive list of voice-overs characters over the years since he also involved in animes such as Bleach, Gundam SEED Destiny and Saint Seiya Hades.

But if you interested on game competitions instead, the people at GACC already lined up several competition for the folks who coming for some challenges instead of hubba hubba hubba taking pictures of cosplayers. Their platform of choice will be PlayStation 2 and the competition games are:

  • Tekken 5
  • Burnout 5 : Dominator
  • Guilty Gear XX AccentCore
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
  • Melty Blood ACT Cadenza

Aside from the PS2 tournament, there will also be Magic: The Gathering and World of Warcraft: Trading Card Game tournaments at the event. For complete information of the event, visit essential links below.
