It is not even November, yet I felt my wallet already sold.

Finally, all Gears of War 2 gossip have come to an end yesterday at Microsoft’s Game Developers Conference 2008 keynote yesterday. As predicted by many before the event starts, Microsoft and Epic Games officially announced the 2nd edition of the hugely third person shooter.

The announcement was made by Gears of War’s lead designer, CliffyB at the end of Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 presentation during the keynote. A trailer (already available on XBL Marketplace together with some free theme and gamer picture) was shown featuring Marcus Pheonix, Lancer-dueling with a Locust. However, there are no actual gameplay footage. The game will be out in the market, this November.

Yes, that’s an actual GoW Limited Edition box art contained in the press kit. I’m hoping for a mini Lancer inside the GoW2 LE package. can you make that happen, Microsoft? Pweety please?
