Multiplay Holidayz Gift Guide 2007
December 24, 2007 by Chapree

Living in Malaysia, we don’t have such a thing called holiday shopping rush. At least for games and gaming-related peripherals. The price of those stuff doesn’t change much here, regardless of Mega Sale or not. Although we need to pay the usual price but thank god, we don’t have to be at each other throat just to get Nintendo Wii. XD
Here are my suggestion for those looking for last minute shoppers that are looking for game-related gifts. Just read on further for the goodies
Games For Your Platform

PC: Crysis
Microsoft Xbox 360: Halo 3
Nintendo Wii: Super Mario Galaxy
Sony PlayStation 2: God of War 2
Sony PlayStation 3: Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction
Nintendo DS: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Sony PlayStation Portable: Silent Hill: Origins
The reason why I recommended all the game above is all of them were developed specifically for each system. In other words, these all are not multi-platform titles. Chances are anybody that owned those consoles already have the game…but if not, I’m sure they’ll be more than delighted to receive them. Easy point for ya.
For The Stingy Gamers

Ah..the amazing Orange Box from Valve. 5 game for RM 175. Do I need to say more? Ok, maybe 1 more…Team Fortress 2 is a wholesome multiplayer fun. Oh, Portal is amazing too. Make sure to buy a cake to accompany this game because…THE CAKE IS A LIEEEE!!!!!1111
Who Said You Cannot Be Healthy From Gaming?

Since December is a month full of public holiday, I’m sure some of us are having “tour de makan“. Wii Fit should be very helpful in your effort to burn away all those common post-Holiday fatness. A perfect reason to bug your significant other for a Nintendo Wii.
P/S: Japanese chick NOT included. If they did, Japan would be out of chicks right now.
Rockstar Wannabes Unite!

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is perfect to feed the rock star in you. Once you hold it, you can rock your joint whole night long, baby. Seriously, no joke, been through it before. Don’t forget to shred through Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. Shred through…LOLZ.
Gaming Chair, Anyone?

Ogawa X-Chair (website) is an ergonomically designed chair featured a surround sound 2.1 speaker system which let you connect to your favorite consoles and DVD player. But the best feature is its 6-contact point massager that comes together with a remote control. Perfect for those long gaming sessions or a Lord of The Rings trilogy back to back marathon.
For Geek Night In and Out

Well, if you not going out partying this holiday season and prefer to stay at home in front of your PC, why not have a Pure Pwnage marathon party? Invite your friends and watch back those defining moments in the ground breaking series…unless you don’t know what Pure Pwnage is. In that case, get this DVD from their website then! You can watch them for free though if you prefer to download them instead of a physical DVD. It’s all available at their website after all (apart from the DVD’s extra contents).

For those who are partying…don’t leave you geekiness at home! Bring it along and flaunt it! How? There are many ways to do it but let’s keep things simple mmkay? You can just get some simple t-shirt like PP’s I’m with Noob T-Shirt and J!NX’s Teabagging - The Complete Frag T-Shirt or if you prefer something that you can wear to the office, get yourself the uber l33t 8-bit Tie from ThinkGeek.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from us at Multiplay! Be safe, people. Don’t bring your game into your real life.
