Toybox FIFA’08 Cup: First Ever Tourney For PS3

While Xbox 360 community has received a number of tournaments for some time, there’s no tournament love for PlayStation 3 owners. I don’t know whether it was the lack of games or the owners prefer to compete with themselves rather than with other people. It is finally time for them to get outside their house and compete face to face as Toybox, a hobby shop at Taman Paramount PJ is going to bring the first ever PlayStation 3 competition in the country (I think)!

The Toybox FIFA’08 Cup will be held sometime in January 2008 starting from the week of 21st January. It is a 2vs2 format and the registration fee is RM 25 per team. It is limited to only 16 teams and the registration will be closed on 6th January. The top team will received RM 150 for their effort. Since it’s a small tournament, the prize were not as big as those large scale PC tournaments but it’s a good start for PlayStation 3 community.
