W|nDs Launched Youth Academy

Follow my lead, boy and you shall kick Si_Jali’s butt in no time!

Recently, renowned FIFA clan [W|nDs] launched W|nDs Youth Academy, believe to be the first ever eSports-related academy in Malaysia. The initiative was launched by their team manager, [W|nDs]Quicknet and held in conjunction of their periodic gathering at their sponsor’s outlet, QuickNet Internet Cafe in Cheras. It is part of their latest effort to promote competitive gaming to Malaysians and to find Malaysia’s future eSports star.

The academy is headed by Rinie “Si_Jali” Ramli who is the recent WCG Malaysia FIFA champion and 2006 WCG Asian Championship champion. Together with him is six more “Youth Academicians” who will provide the necessary training for students of the academy. Each students are given a custom made training module based on each’s ability and playing style.

According to Si_Jali, W|nDs Youth Academy concepts are molded after real life youth football academy. In order to qualify for the academy, you must be under 20 years old, complete with exceptional talent in FIFA (duh!), good academic records and of course, blessing from parents. Loyalty, respect plus good communication skills is also a must. Once they graduated from the academy, students are free to stay with [W|nDs] or pursue other opportunities outside the team.
