At the end of last month, Game Flier Malaysia held yet another successful Cuti-Cuti Gamers event at The Summit, USJ. The 3 day events featured throngs of fun activities aimed to gamers and non-gamers alike.

Game Flier let out a number of games from their stable for the fans to test out such as Six Saint Online, Nine Heroes Online and Web3go. They even let gamers to test out 2 of their upcoming games, HE Online and ChunQ Online under non-disclosure conditions. Not bad.

There was more fan service were thrown in to the gamers. Game Flier brought along 2 game engineers responsible for Justice Xwar2 and Xenjo Online. Chen Yu Wei from King Soft China and Ethan Chua from Zealot Digital Singapore shared with the public their life as a game engineers and how they transformed themselves from playing games to building games.

Such an event is not complete without competitions. One of them was Ragnarok Online YelloX Cup 3vs3 PVP competition. On hand at the prize giving ceremony of the RO Cup was the hawt local supermodel, Amber Chia. Spending quite some time at the even despite her busy schedule, she also hosted the Cosplay competition. She should just join the competition as well, sure pwn everybody else! *thumbs up* :D

The highlight of the day was of course their ever popular RM 1 hourly sale sessions. It is where the fans can get themselves bunch of Game Flier related merchandises for RM 1 during specific time of the day. In between these events, there was also entertainment in the form of artist and band performances. Among the well known artist that made an appearance at Cuti-Cuti Gamers was Anthony Chang and Chan Kwok Fai.

Seems that Game Flier managed to be closer with fans of their games and non-gamers alike with the success of the event. So it’s natural that they going to do it again. Oh, they already confirmed one future event too. Their next event, called Summer Matsuri will be held in mid-2008. So you RO fans out there can get ready to partay next year! :D

Amber Chia brought Cuti-cuti Gamers to climax!

The successful three-days online gamer’s holiday carnival, Cuti-cuti Gamers, which organized by Game Flier Malaysia and The Summit USJ, has ended at its climax with the appearance of Malaysia supermodel, Amber Chia, at the prize giving session of YelloX Cup RO 3 on 3 competition.

Amber attended the event during her break right before her trip to Taiwan. Besides handling the unique coffee-cup-made YelloX Cup to the champion, Amber hosted the Cosplay competition too.

Other than that, Game Flier has invited Anthony Chang from Global Chinese Singing Competition to perform in the event on Sunday while singer Chan Kwok Fai performed on stage and Dylan Liang You Cheng from 8tv recommended his new book ‘step forward chatalogue’ on Saturday. Endless performance by artist, this must be a great weekend, most exciting holiday ever!

As Game Flier Malaysia emphasized in their press conference, the event is going to combine entertaining, education and employment. Therefore, Game Flier invited game engineer Chen Yu Wei from King Soft China and Ethan Chua from Zealot Digital Singapore to have speeches about Justice Xwar 2 and Xenjo Online to explain how a gamer become a game engineer.

The most popular of the event must be ‘RM1 is Back, Again!’ session, which was came back under popular demand. Everyone, from 8 to 80, from daddy to mummy, Ali, Ahmad and Ah Seng, all came to Summit early morning just to queued up for the hourly RM1 sales of products up to RM38. Of course, everyone went back satisfied.

There are several games for the audience to test play, which including: Six Saint Online, Nine Heroes Online, Web3go and the non-disclosure-protected HE Online and ChunQ Online. That was unique because HE Online and ChunQ Online were not in the market yet, and Game Flier decided to let gamers test play it under the condition Non Disclosure Agreement.

The exciting three-day event provides the audiences a joyful experience as they were in the wonderland. If you missed it, please do not worry.     Chapree: The only info I got about the game is this seminar flyer. I feel that it’s not the game that you mentioned as the flyer said that the game will be a cross platform MMO. I’m not really sure myself.
