Mass Effect Sees The Daylight At Singapore

Alien Bartender: We totally save, dude. Soldier: Word, bro.
Earlier today, my colleague Ryan posted a piece of news about an upcoming game for Xbox 360 called Mass Effect received the banhammer in Singapore due to an alleged female on female action scene inside the game. The shocking news happened last week and travel throughout the world in no time. The game was developed by Bioware, known for the original Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
But few days after the decision was made and after throngs of gamers all over the world cries “WTF?”, Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA) decided to reverse its earlier decision. Apart from granted a release to the game, MDA also slapped a M18 rating to it. So, everybody can expect to see the game at shops around the island next week as according to the original release schedule.
If you haven’t view the scene (totally SFW I assure you), you can view it at Lowyat.NET front page. Seriously, what’s the fuss? The scene is between a human female that looks like a dude and an alien. That’s a serious WTF and you shouldn’t get excited. Except that’s your kind of thing…WTF, oi!!
