As posted by my fellow colleague on Lowyat.NET front page, Microsoft Hardware recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and to show that they are nowhere near retiring, they launched a number of new product for Malaysian market. One of the product is the SideWinder Mouse, targeted to gamers out there who looking for some edge in the form of a performance mouse.
How did Microsoft came out with that radical design?
The spanking new mouse boost a number of sweet features such as:
- The unique shape and button positions are engineered for fast, comfortable, precise gaming action.
- Three buttons instantly switch between DPI 400, 800, and 2000 - or you can customize settings using special software.
- DPI settings and macro recording icons are displayed on the mouse to reduce on-screen interference.
- Cable anchor to enjoy wired performance with the feel of wireless, easily adjust your cable configuration and plus, it’s also an accessories storage box!
- Quick Launch button for Windows Vista Games Explorer
- 5 programmable main buttons
- Choice of three different materials of replaceable mouse feet for glide preference.

With above specs, it is pretty obvious that Microsoft SideWinder Mouse have set itself to collide head to head with Logitech G9. Who knows which one going to win, eh?
