Soon after, Chapree unleashed his l337ness on the crazy doc’s bombs and pwned him flawlessly. After 5 tries.
Just today, Ballistic Wars, a game by Wan Hazmer, a local independent game developer was announced as the 3rd place winner of JayIsGames.com 4th Flash Game Design Competition!
Together with him, was his cousin, Daim which helped him with characters design and animation and also his sister, Leenyin for interface design. All participants of this competition were given only 8 weeks to complete the game and the game must revolved around a theme which is about ball physics. To pull this off with such a short time is pretty amazing I must say.
Apparently, the USD 500 prize money is not the only thing that Wan Hazmer got from the competition. Ballistic Wars has managed to attract a US-based company to sponsor his future games. Not to forget, it further attracted individuals from Singapore, Thailand and US for future collaboration. Good going!
Some of the characters from the game: Aida, Tank, Hunter & normal guy…I mean Soldier.
Once again, congratulations to Wan Hazmer for the achievement. I’m sure many already looking forward for your next game. For those who haven’t caught up with Ballistic Wars, give the game a spin and I promise you going to have some fun with the humor and the game art, if not the whole game itself.
