Games Xtreme League Announces PC Games For Season 2

Sometime ago, we reported that GXL held a poll to choose official PC games for their Season 2. Today, GXL Game Master, Andrei Dmitriev announced that the official PC games for GXL 2007 Season 2 have been chosen. They are:

• Counter Strike 1.6
• Defense of the Ancients
• Enemy Territory Quake Wars
• Granado Espada PvP League

Some of the community member cried foul over the announcement especially from Battlefield players as 2 of the chosen game (ETQW and GE PvP) received lower votes compated to Battlefield 2142. Andrei explained that the poll is just one of the many factors that decides which games goes into the league. He also stated that the official PC games list is 99.9% confirmed and have a very small percentage for any changes to happen.

GXL will further announce few more titles for PSP and Xbox 360 league soon. The competition for these two platforms will be held during Season 2 LAN Finals.
