Games Xtreme League Opens Season 2 Official PC Games Poll

Yesterday, Singtel’s Games Xtreme League posted up an online poll to determine the official games of GXL Season 2. This poll are meant for PC games while the poll for console games will be up soon. According to a unofficial source, GXL Season 2 online prelims are scheduled to start around end of October and the LAN finals will be held around December this year.

The games currently on the list are:

• Counter Strike 1.6
• Counter Strike: Source
• Defense of the Ancients
• Quake Wars: Enemy Territory
• Battlefield 2142
• Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
• Command & Conquer 3
• Company of Heroes + Expansion (if it got released on time)
• World in Conflict
• Need For Speed Carbon / ProStreet

If your game are not inside the list, you can suggest them at GXL forums.

I hope more Malaysian gamer will be able to make it to the Finals this time around. I’ve personally have a lot of fun covering GXL Season 1 last August.
