DotA Replaced By CS1.6 in WGT Malaysia

This next piece of information will definitely be another blow for our local DotA fanboys, albeit I might have already expected it to happen.
A very-very reliable source had just informed me that the ever-popular cyber cafe game will not be listed as the official game for this event due to unknown reasons.
However, do not fret as it will be replaced by Counter Strike 1.6 as the team game in the event. The official games list are: -
Counter-Strike 1.6
FIFA Soccer 07
Need For Speed Carbon
Warcraft III:Frozen Throne
This is in contrast with our reports earlier about the flyers that was distributed in Plaza Low Yat pertaining to WGT 2007 Malaysia; but the real questions remains “Does this mean that there is really gonna be no DotA in WGT?“.
Let’s see what happens next.
