Multiplay Live! - CELgames’07 Low Yat Plaza Qualifier and Grand Finals Day 2

After a gruesome Day 1, the grand finale is here. Yesterday have been an intense day for all finalist as they work their way through the brackets of CELgames’07 Grand Finals. Today, only 10 players left to continue chasing the glory of CELgames 2007 Champion title. Today also we will get to see who’s the lucky bugger that get to bring home the much allured Microsoft Xbox 360 from the luck draw. XD

A continuation from yesterday, Multiplay are bringing the updates direct to your internet browser, specially for you all that not able to join us here at Low Yat Plaza. I hope yesterday’s technical problem will not repeat itself again for benefit of all.

[11:30am]: Today’s scheduled will be as below:
- FIFA 2007 Semi-Final
- Command and Conquer 3 Final
- NFS Carbon Finals
- Prize Giving
- Lucky Draw

The crew are still setting up the concourse. The sound board have been moved to the PC to provide sound to the crowd.

[11:45am]: Everything have been setup for the grand final to begin.

FIFA 2007 Semi-Final
[W|nDs]Lo0n4tic vs. [W|nDs]vin
[W|nDs]si_jali vs. [MyFES]Houlivgan

It begins now!! Playing on the big screen now is [W|nDs]si_jali vs. [MyFES]Houlivgan.

Both of them choose France. si_jali are leading way ahead now with 3 - 1.

At half time, si_jali leads 6 - 1.

Meanwhile, at the other side, Lo0n and vin are tied at 1 - 1.

[12:00pm]: si_jali totally destorying Houlivgan defence wall with 7 - 1.

Houvligan making some changes right now.

1st match finished with si_jali 7 - 2 Houlivgan. Same goes for Loon vs. vin, 3 - 2 respectively.

2nd match are on going now….but si_jali’s game crash XD

Lo0n are 0 - 1 behind vin currently…if CELgames’07 FIFA Finals already this intense, imagine WCG Malaysia later

It’s still 0 - 0 between si_jali and Houlivgan but vin are having good run by leading Lo0n, 3 - 1.

2nd match between Lo0n and vin have finished with the 3 - 1 score. Since their winning score is 1 - 1, they need to go into third match.

Things have heated up between si_jali and Houlivgan, with both of them score 1 - 1 in one minute gap.

si_jali is ON FIRE!! 3 - 1 is the current score between him and Houlivgan.

si_jali qualied to the finals by beating Houlivgan, 2 - 0 on best out of 3 aggregate.

[12:30pm]: vin and Lo0n’s third match still going on, 1 - 0 respectively.

Current score: 2 - 1, a disconnection happened at 1 - 0.

Lo0n just managed to equalize the score. It’s now 2 - 2….and Lo0n just missed a PENALTY!!! A great save by vin and Lo0n now going ROFLWTFLOLOLOL XD

Full time finished, they are now waiting for extra-time.

Since they still tied, penalty shoot out have to be use to determine the winner.

vin won the penalty, 6 - 5!! vin will meet with his clanmate, si_jali to determine the champion!

3rd/4th place match is going on, Lo0n leading Houlivgan 2 - 1, Brazil vs. France respectively.

Houlivgan equalized!! 2 - 2 is the current score.

Houlivgan scored again, like few minutes before full time! Final score for 1st match is 3 - 2, 1 point for Houlivgan.

2nd match are underway now and Houlivgan just scored the first goal…and 10 seconds after that, Lo0n equalized! Woaaahhhh!!

Lo0n now leads 2 - 1! He really needs to win this match so that he can bring this battle into the decider match for 3rd place.

Lo0n scored another goal! It’s 3 - 1 now and Houlivgan paused the match to make some changes to counter Lo0n samba attack.

[1:25pm]: Houlivgan still not giving up, scored another goal making the score 3 - 2.

Lo0n scoresss again…it’s 4 - 2 and another one soon after that making it 5 - 2.

Houlivgan have awesome fighting spirit and he just making the score 5 - 3.

A scissor kick to the back of the net by Lo0n, dimming Houlivgan chance to win this match. It’s now 6 - 3.

The clock already going into 80th minute and Lo0n just sent Kaka to put the ball into the goal from outside the penalty box!!! It’s now 7 - 3. Third match are totally going to happen after this.

Full time for the second match, this time it’s Lo0n’s turn to shine, grabbing 1 point. With this, 3rd/4th placing round are going into a decider match.

Third match are underway now and Houlivgan just drawed the first blood, 0 - 1.

Lo0n just equalized the score, 1 - 1!!

He just add another one, it’s now 2 - 1! Will Houlivgan be able to recover from this deficit?

2nd half is underway now, Houlivgan managed to equalized right after kick-off. The score is now 2 - 2.

Lo0n are back on the lead, 3 - 2 and he almost nailed another one, he tried again and he scoreeessss!! 4 - 2!!

One goal after another, Houlivgan spirit is still on fire. He just lowered down the gap to 4 - 3.

Into the final minutes of the 2nd half, Houlivgan attacking gets more poweful and he got rewarded with another goal!! It’s 4 - 4 and the crowd are watching with delight!

Full time finished, it’s extra time! Man, this round have been so tough and entertaining, more and more crowd are coming to Low Yat Plaza concourse area to join the fun.

It’s 2nd half of extra-time, both team yet to score and both are attacking with full power. So many close calls…:o

Extra time finished with both of them tied up, it’s time for penalty shootout…

[W|nDs]Lo0n4tic wooonnnn the penalty shootout!! It’s 50-50 chance between him and [MyFES]Houlivgan, so many deflection by both side and finally, Lo0n managed to defend his goal against the final penalthy from Houlivgan.

[2:00pm]: Command & Conquer 3 will commence next, the players and crews are getting the PCs ready for the finals between [r0r1]AlphaAurora and Ravana.

[2:45pm]: Command & Conquer 3 Finals finally started.

[3:00pm]: Ravana is unstoppable! AlphaAurora bowed down to Ravana micro in straight 2 - 0.

NFS Carbon Final comes next. It will be a 4-people league battle. Crowd are gathering slowly into the concourse area.

[3:25pm]: NFS Carbon Finals are underway now!

[4:10pm]: NFS Carbon Finals have finished! The crowd favorite, FoRza won flawlessly against the rest of finalist. M1-Heaven received the 2nd place and Liang finished the tournament at 3rd place.

FIFA 2007 Finals are underway now, the players just finished setting up their team and strategies.

[4:25pm]: 1st match is underway now. si_jali leads vin at 2 - 1. Both players are using France.

vin just equalized the score!! Now, it’s 2 - 2!

It’s almost full time of the 1st game. si_jali are leading 3 - 2.

2nd game is underway now. si_jali holds an advantage as he won the first game. Will vin have his 2nd chance against his own clanmate?

[5:25pm]: Aiyarkkk, the TMnut Hotspot die on me during FIFA Finals!!! Right now, the games already finished, players just chit chatting, lepak2 waiting for the prize giving and lucky draw.
