No Metal Gear Solid 4 Till 2008: WHAT?

Yesterday, Gamestop/EB Games, one of the biggest game distributor and retailer in US, emailed to all their customers that pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 4 to inform them that the release date for MGS4 have been shifted from 1st September 2007 to 1st March 2008. That’s one, two…half a year delay! I think I heard some PS3 owner are weeping now…

One of my friend reacted to this news said: “Are they trying to squeeze the PS3 till dry and then only comes out with the game?“. It is better for the game to delayed, then it being a rushed, half-assed game. It’s better late than never as well. But, I do hope that it’s NOT too late.

One thing made me wonder though. Why not Konami or Kojima Productions themselves announce this news? Hmm…
