Welcome to this week’s edition of SCOREBOARD.my, the place where we kept track results from local eSports tournament and leagues weekly. SCOREBOARD.my updates every Tuesday.
To start it off, we already covered the results from Melaka Cyber Games: Counter Strike 1.6 yesterday. Two new league have been included in this week, that is FIFA’07 League @ Dektos.net and Malaysian Sim Racer: V8 Supercars League. We also got results from PS2 Bangi Battle: Winning Eleven - Part 1 as well as the weekly LYN C&C3 League Season 1 scores.
In a rare Borneo outing, LYN Warhammer40K: Dawn of War Kakis (LYNK) managed to dominate the Sabah 2vs2 Tournament. The pairing of GuyOsiris and TheNameX brought the glory for LYNK. We didn’t post up the full results as the information of the event were very scarce. According to Waba, it was more a local event but LYNK was there to show support and gratitude to New Era for keeping on promoting DoW:DC. Nevertheless, congrats to LYNK for their victory.
There is one sad news though. With regret, we would like to announce that the LYN F1 Challenge League have been aborted by their participants. This happened due to a riff in the league but many of the participants still interested in continuing the league. They are reorganizing the league as we speaking. We wish them all the best in resurrecting the league.
